About Art and Its Meaning
AIM was co-founded in the summer of 2021 by artists and arts advocates, Melissa Danielson and Jordan Guzman. Melissa and Jordan are multidisciplinary artists who have over a decade of combined experience in the arts and alternative arts-based education.
They met while teaching art and learned they had a mutual vision to create a safe haven where people can come to express themselves freely. Soon they collaborated in forming Art and Its Meaning, creating a platform where people can shine their light and meet with like minded individuals. Using the arts as a gateway, they have ultimately cultivated a community of empathy and compassion.
